Logistics and packaging service provider Mugele GmbH wins Supply Chain Management contract with Shanghai China-Industrial Import and Export Trading Co., Ltd. (SCI).

SCI is an important importer of machinery and supplier parts for the automobile industry, and already provides a wide range of services to many world-renowned car manufacturers and their subsidiaries.

The business relationship between SCI and Mugele GmbH, which began in July 2007, resulted in an extension of our cooperative partnership from with effect from December 2008 until 2010.

Mugele GmbH is responsible for managing all of SCI's Europe-based suppliers. This includes precise consolidation in terms of time and quantity of all components at the Mugele Logistics Center in Iggingen-Brainkofen. Weekly shipments by sea container to Shanghai will ensure a continuous flow of goods. The Packaging division of Mugele is responsible for ensuring that the components are delivered in good order.
